Responsibilities
Develop progression, retention, social, and monetization features for one of our key titles and layer them to build a welcoming, cohesive, and engaging experience.
Collaborate with economy design and product teams to balance retention, engagement, and monetization to deliver the desired player experience and critical metrics.
Work with the gameplay design team to ensure a cohesive experience that aligns with gameplay goals and amplifies the overall player experience.
Clearly and concisely communicate the product vision, design approaches, and requirements to team members and key stakeholders through documentation, presentations and visual tools to convey key concepts, mechanics, and systems required.
Respond to emergent QA and design issues / problems in development and ensure these are addressed in line with feature goals and development timelines.
Collaborate with user research and data science teams on user testing and quantitative analysis to derive product insights, identify design issues / opportunities, and drive improvements to the game.
Contribute to an active community of designers, giving and receiving feedback and helping each other improve their work and techniques.
Minimum Requirements
Expertise in F2P design, integrating both an engaging player experience and effective monetization strategy into live games.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Able to clearly document game design concepts and articulate them succinctly to team members and stakeholders.
Adept at understanding player behavior and experience with sophisticated meta systems via analytical, long-term sources like data and empathetic, moment-to-moment sources like playtesting.
Strong planning and organizational skills that allow you to establish and follow key critical initiatives.
Comfortable working with designers and business performance professionals from a wide range of backgrounds.
Excels in a collaborative and flexible environment where your role will evolve in line with the ongoing plans for development.
