You will partner closely with product management, design, research and go-to-market teams, ensuring that our customers' voice is reflected in our products and messaging.You will drive customer insights to inform product development, develop differentiated and customer-backed product positioning, and partner with Marketing and Channel teams to drive product adoption and engagement.
You will work with passionate, talented individuals committed to helping couples find vendors that meet their budget and needs.RESPONSIBILITIES:Product Positioning - Craft differentiated product positioning and respective messaging, including key product claims and other artifacts to drive overall product awareness, consideration and usageCustomer Insights & Advocacy: Leverage and drive market and competitive research to become a strong advocate and voice for our existing and prospective user needs and help shape the product roadmapIn-Market Testing & Experimentation: Generate hypotheses and work with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to improve marketplace KPIsGo-To-Market Planning & Execution: Partner with marketing channel owners to launch, track and optimize notable releasesContent and Asset Development: Develop and execute content, assets and communication needs for key marketplace initiatives including in-product messaging and email communicationsMarket Intelligence: Proactively stay on top of competitors' strategies and market trends and drive follow-up actionsSUCCESSFUL SENIOR MANAGER, PRODUCT MARKETING (MARKETPLACE) CANDIDATES HAVE:Minimum 5-7 years product marketing experienceExperience marketing to small businesses strongly preferredWorks well cross-functionally, particularly with product, creative and channel teamsDemonstrated ability to influence product strategy based on market research and customer insightsTrack record of using "test & learn" to drive continuous improvementAbility to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing and organizing effectivelyOutstanding writer and editor with exceptional attention to detailStrong player-coach mentality, excels at strategic thinking as well as rolling up sleeves to get things doneAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of managementBachelor's Degree with a strong academic record
