About Us: The Role: The role of the Senior HR Business Partner is to support and partner with key internal stakeholders in delivering the People aspects of the Business Strategy ensuring alignment with the UK&I Client Services priorities. A key component of the role is having an understanding of the business priorities and developing solutions and programmes that address these people and change needs within the business. The role holder is responsible for implementing global programmes within their business area (Client Services) and delivering the global calendar of priorities (i.e. Performance Management, Annual Salary Review and Reward Planning, Career Management & Mobility, Talent Management and Retention Strategy, Learning and Development and Employee Engagement initiatives). The Senior HR Business Partner will have responsibility for managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gaining buy-in and support for any key change initiatives.
Key Accountabilities: Financial & Operational Excellence:Work closely with key stakeholders on Organisational Design and any associated Business Restructuring activities e.g. Global Sourcing Rollout.Project-manage people activities (e.g. job design) and provide change management advice.For any Account, Sector specific programmes within the role holder's responsibility, manage any programme scope.Write project plans for each scoped and agreed project that define tasks, activities and owners. Manage the plan, reporting on key milestones and any project slippage, issues or risks to relevant stakeholders.Manage any external Suppliers to time, budget and scope. Ensure any external Supplier Relationships are managed within company governance arrangements.Manage any allocated budgets and escalate potential overspend or issues.Client Focus:Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to understand business strategy and priorities.Understand different internal client needs and issues. Be aware of, and manage sensitivities between different and competing client views.Manage company and people risk appropriately when making business related people decisions.Produce written communications and presentations to a high standard, ensuring messages are conveyed in a compelling and persuasive way.Deliver training or coaching to line managers and employees in support of operational changes. Ensure training is designed and delivered to meet the needs of the audiences.Team:Indirectly manage and influence service quality of non-direct reports, of those members of the People Capital team delivering service into defined business areas.Support other team members in the delivery and implementation of projects, including working to deliver tasks and activities on other team member's projects.Skills & Experience: Specialist / Technical Expertise: Maintains technical expertise in areas of specialism, e.g. Talent and Retention Strategy, L&D, and applies this knowledge to the development and improvement of the People Agenda. Proactively stays abreast of market developments and industry trends in areas of technical expertise and regularly updates the team on developments and their impact on the function and programmes.Essential: Experience of managing People and Change projects (typical project duration may be 3 - 6 months).Experience of working with a variety of senior stakeholders e.g. department heads or leadership team members of small organisations both within and outside the business e.g. Suppliers and managing conflicting views on desired project outcomes.Experience of implementing and operationalising the outputs of the projects.Experience of managing senior level stakeholder relationships.Experience of Talent Acquisition (Resourcing) Service Delivery.Experience of presenting findings and recommendations to key/principal stakeholders, e.g. Leadership Team members.Experience of building strong internal networks to support in the development and delivery of projects.Degree or commensurate experience.Excellent English.Other: Besides a full benefits package and the opportunity to work with an amazing Team?
