This role involves ensuring the efficiency, security, and scalability of payment processes, managing internal and external relationships with payment service providers. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, drive process improvements, and align payment systems with the company's financial strategies and objectives.Location: Vienna, Berlin, Madrid or MilanJoin our talented team and work in a hybrid format from our officesYour Role in Our JourneyOversee the daily operations of the payment systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.Manage and maintain payment platforms, gateways, and related financial systems.Create optimal payment strategies (scoring of customers, how many instalments, at which time of the month).Work with subsidiaries to reduce trapped cash and optimise working capital.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, security, and user experience.Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company's payment systems current and competitive.Manage relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other financial institutions.Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organisation, to align payment systems with business needs.Monitor and manage risks associated with payment systems, including fraud prevention and detection.Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and security of payment systems.Oversee the preparation of financial reports related to payment systems.Conduct analyses to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Your impact:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
