OverviewAs a Senior Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager, you will play a key role in driving the BU's growth strategy by leading M&A transactions, from deal origination through to integration. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. This is a senior-level position that requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDeal Origination & Sourcing:Identify and source potential acquisition opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, investment bankers, and financial advisors.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify key trends and acquisition targets.Financial Analysis & Valuation:Lead in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, comparable company, precedent transactions), and deal structuring.Conduct thorough due diligence, including analysis of financial, operational, and strategic data.Present investment thesis and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.Deal Negotiation & Execution:Negotiate key terms of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to finalize deal terms and close transactions.Work closely with external advisors (legal, financial, etc.) to manage deal processes efficiently.Post-Merger Integration:Ensure that an integration plan is designed and implemented to ensure smooth transitions post-acquisition.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations) to align business processes and cultures.Monitor the performance of acquired companies and ensure that value creation targets are achieved.Strategic Advisory & Leadership:Provide strategic advice to the BU Management team on growth opportunities and potential risks.Act as a mentor and leader for junior team members, helping to build a high-performing M&A team.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and market conditions that impact deal flow and strategy.Qualifications7+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of successfully leading M&A transactions from inception to completion.PROFESSION COMPETENCIESBusiness ValuationCommercial AcumenFinancial ModelingRisk ManagementSolution BuildingCORE COMPETENCIESAdhering to Principles & ValuesCommunicationCreating & InnovatingCustomer FocusImpact & InfluenceLeading ExecutionResults OrientationTeamworkEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA is preferred).WHAT WE OFFERWe're all about diversity.
