The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, highly organized results driven individual with strong technical and good communication skills, judgment and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work in a non-structured environment.Essential Functions Of The JobFinancial Analysis and Reporting:Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations supporting finance director.Provide commentary and explanations for financial results, highlighting key drivers and potential risks or opportunities.Budgeting And ForecastingCollaborate with business owner and business units to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast, adjusting as necessary.Assist in the creation of periodic forecasts to support agile decision-making.Accounting And AdministrationCollaborate and support the central accounting hub in Basel for the periodic closing activities including but not limited to revenues, gross to net reconciliation, accruals & deferrals, inventories and stock reconciliation, personnel costs, and in monthly reconciliation of P&L and Balance sheet actual figures in relation to the transactions of SAP versus budget and forecasts.Cost ManagementPartner with department heads to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiency.Monitor and control departmental spending on a monthly basis (including related SAP and admin documents and transaction to investigate, i.E. Purchase orders etc.)Ad Hoc Analysis And ProjectsConduct special financial analyses and projects as requested by senior management.Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate with various departments such as accounting, sales, marketing, and operations to gather data and insights for analysis.ProfileMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance, Forecasting or Analytics and Accounting & Tax.Experience in PowerBI analysis.Experience in SAP is mandatory. (4HANA a plus)Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.G., Excel, financial software, ERP systems).Comfortable in operating in a non-structured fast paced environment
