Job Title – Senior Manager Corporate Communications Type: Hybrid Duration: 12 months Reference - 18349 Start Date - ASAP Location - Spain or Italy (Hybrid) JOB DESCRIPTION: My client, a leader in their field are looking for a results-driven Senior Manager for the Corporate Communications team covering South EMEA (France, Spain and Italy).
Duties and responsibilities: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders in the regions.
Work with in-house team members and external PR agencies across South EMEA, covering delivery, and reporting.
Ensure delivery of results against critical metrics and KPIs and build high quality reports that demonstrate the contribution of communications to the overall business effort and targets.
Work with Employee and Employee Communications and other functions in the region to support internal and executive communications across South EMEA.
Provide counsel to business leaders and teams in the region.
Encourage confidence in the communications function with this team and partner with regional marketing teams.
Work collaboratively with the EMEA Corporate Communications team to build and develop thought leadership campaigns and content, based on an excellent knowledge of the business and technology marketplace.
Progress an innovative, outstanding customer and partner communications programme, working closely with the Customer Advocacy team and driving Pan-EMEA campaigns that can boost customer stories in all regions.
Knowledge of Spanish media is essential, and Italian media is also important.
Experience Required: An average of 7 - 10 years validated experience in communications.
Prior experience of implementing successful ongoing public relations campaigns in South EMEA, ideally with a global technology company.
Confirmed ability to deliver outstanding results in a B2B environment.
Strong creative thinking, writing, communications, problem solving, management, technical, and analytical skills.
Understanding of the EMEA business landscape, and in-depth knowledge of business software/cloud/technology industry including macro-trends and competitor strategies.
Ability to collaborate and build links at all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership, marketing, sales, and support.
Strong operational and organisational skills to bring new insights to the team and see ideas through to completion.
A confirmed capacity to run the day-to-day PR campaigns and work on a variety of projects at one time with varying goals.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Additional language skills would be advantageous.
Ability to provide positive references.
This hybrid working position is based in Madrid, Spain, or Milan, Italy.
