Come and join us to create the future together!The role of Senior Manager - Connected Mobility focuses on leading Vodafone's Vehicle to Everything (V2X), IoT Automotive, Cybersecurity, and 5G Edge Computing program, supporting new business verticals in the V2X space. With the V2X automotive market expected to reach $66 billion and growing rapidly, integrating robust cybersecurity solutions is crucial.The candidate will drive new partnerships, develop business and product strategies, and align these efforts with Vodafone's objectives to create new revenue streams, provide operational efficiencies, and enhance customer experience. They will also manage the open-source strategy for the V2X platform, aiming to increase adoption. Representing Vodafone at industry events and forums is another key responsibility.Additionally, the candidate needs to be familiar with open-source technologies and trends, as well as capable of interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders.Key accountabilities:Responsible for solution design, development, and integration of Vodafone V2X platform and solutions.Delivery of the technology roadmap & solutions life-cycle.Ensure that these solutions are designed as per the business requirements incl. new features, capacity, coverage & security.Provision of the framework to plug in the cutting-edge Customer Touchpoints to create VAS differentiation.Delivery with a high level of efficiency using Agile methodology to keep costs low and fast time to market.What you bring:Effective at communicating technical information both in detail to fellow engineers, and through Technical presentations and report writing, particularly adept at communicating complex technical information in an easy to comprehend manner.Proven track record of delivering Applications and Services in Software and/or Telco industry.Detailed knowledge and experience in Applications Development, Services, Analytics, Cloud, Open Source technologies, APIs, MEC, 5G, IoT Connectivity, Agile, and DevOps.Experience in delivering large projects through design and implementation managing large team managing internal and external stakeholders.A proven track record of leading a team, developing strategy, and building support and consensus across multiple parties.Please apply with an English version of your CV.Why Vodafone?At Vodafone, we are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
