Senior Manager Carrier Commercial Refrigeration Communications
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented communications leader to join our Carrier Refrigeration Communications & Marketing team, supporting the Carrier Commercial Refrigeration business (CCR).
S / he must be comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to produce various communications and marketing projects.
In addition, s / he will be adept at multitasking and maintaining a strong commitment to quality.
This position reports directly to the Refrigeration Director of Communications & Marketing and operationally to the Vice President & General Manager of CCR.
This position may require occasional travel, including international travel, to support activities as needed.
Job description This leader will develop and deploy creative and differentiating communication campaigns and tools to expand the visibility and awareness of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR) across the EMEA region.
S / he must be able to excel across the communications and marketing spectrum from executing detailed tactical activities to planning strategic initiatives.
This leader will support the CCR business unit senior leadership team to increase engagement and transparency with internal and external audiences.
S / he will be accountable for the communication and marketing plans and tactics, which include earned media, product launches, industry events and marketing collateral.
Main responsibilities Develop and implement fully integrated internal and external communication strategies that support the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the company.Set and manage priorities with stakeholders, drive team deadlines and accountability, communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure objectives and expectations are set and met.Manage the communications budget and coordinate with external agencies (design, press, events).Promote key products, services and programs through an integrated communications and marketing approach.Embrace The Carrier Way philosophy and build trust by fostering alignment and partnerships.Collaborate across functions and geographies to execute flawlessly under tight deadlines.Serve as a trusted advisor and counsel to senior business leaders and stakeholders by listening and providing expertise, relevant insights and transparent feedback.Develop and execute creative and innovative communications and marketing deliverables to support the promotion of products and services : videos, animations, graphics, web copy, social media, marketing materials.Develop conversational and visual communications for CCR employees across a variety of platforms, including the employee intranet and newsletter, email, internal social channels, and leadership meetings and Town Halls.Support countries on local requests, providing advice and problem solving, and proposing the most appropriate and efficient solution.Requirements / Experience Previous experience in a similar corporate environment is highly preferred.Master's degree in communications, marketing or business preferred.Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in communications and marketing, creating and leading internal and external communications channels within a complex business environment.Fluency in English required. German also preferred.The ability to work with urgent deadlines, changing priorities, and to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously, in a professional manner.Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative, but also to be a strong team player.Experience providing strategic counsel to senior leadership and crisis management.Manage and develop a team of communication professionals. Must have strong writing, editing, organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated creativity and understanding of social media, digital marketing and production / post-production techniques.Proficiency in applicable software packages, including Microsoft Office.Experience managing budgets to continually assess performance and taking actions to improve results.Carrier is An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
