Join us as a Senior Manager, Business Partnering Communications, where you will be a key player in managing the delivery of communications programmes and initiatives. You will be expected to play an active role in shaping the team's agenda and working with communicators from all business areas to drive impact at global, regional and market levels in support of business priorities.
Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day delivery of flagship events, campaigns and initiatives. You will also provide targeted communications support for Legal and Global Ethics & Compliance functions, as required. You will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders and teams across Corporate Communications and Global Corporate Affairs to support the development of compelling content, assets and campaigns to reach our priority audiences.
Key responsibilities
Work under direction and alone to manage and coordinate the delivery of campaigns and communications programmes to drive a leading corporate reputation and achieve best-in-class engagement across HR, and Legal and Global Ethics & Compliance functions, as required
Partner with GCA colleagues to support the delivery of high-quality, creative and accurate communications activities, content and outputs
Implement learnings and drive action and optimisation across the team, adopting best practices and ensuring approaches remain best-in-class
Advise, coach and counsel internal stakeholders and senior leaders on communications activities
Manage development and delivery of global communications activities to support the HR strategy, in close partnership with leaders across the function
Proactively identify, develop and deliver accurate, clear and compelling communication materials, campaigns and activities within defined timelines and budget
Manage and maintain Global HR 'storefront' presence and content pages on company intranet; establish process for content management Lifecyle
Scripting, editing and production of videos and podcasts in support of leadership messages and campaigns
Deliver communication support and campaigns for functional transformation programmes
Provide communications support as needed for Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel for internal/external events (Townhalls, Leader Meetings, content creation etc)
Generate content in support of HR, Legal and Global Ethics & Compliance communication activities (gathering, coordinating input, editing, writing, etc.), as required
Ensure all communications share a unified look and feel that reflect the company's business priorities, strategy and brand
Manage contract and agency resources to support effective execution of communication activities as required. Manage quality and compliance of work
Serve as a flexible resource for Global Corporate Affairs functional needs when timely resource/prioritisation is required
Knowledge and experience
Minimum 5-7 years communications experience working in a fast-paced global in-house or agency communications team
Experienced communicator with track record in delivering and managing complex communications campaigns that deliver measurable impact and ROI
Experience in working with international teams or on projects with international dimensions
Significant experience of managing different stakeholder relationships and confident at managing up
Skilled at using social media and digital content creation, and experience in measurement and how to use data and research to drive communications efforts
Experience of working in pharma/other highly regulated sector is desirable
