The role will be critical in driving implementation of innovative solutions that leverage emerging technologies such as biometrics, self service, robotics, machine vision and artificial intelligence as well as projects that improve process resulting in benefit to airlines within the group. The role will be critical to accelerating the implementation of automation technologies across our hub and key non-hub airports to industrial scale as part of the transformative change agenda. The role will also ensure alignment with IAG's strategic objectives, business requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. The scope of the role will include both above and below wing projects and will require the ability to think on your feet and adapt to a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Execute the programme strategy, roadmap and governance framework for airport automation alongside airlines within the group.Laser focused on identifying the benefits within projects and measuring impact.Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities, technology vendors, and regulators.Lead sharing of insights and best practice amongst airlines within the group - if one airline has succeeded lets copy and paste to others where it makes sense to do so. Identify opportunities that enable CASK savings within the Hub and Non hub airports whether automation or process related. Lead and motivate a team of project managers, business analysts, technical experts and change managers.Work closely with regional commercial and operational teams both within IAG and within the Airlines to ensure benefits are realised from automation or process improvement projects. Lead innovation funnel from idea through discovery, trial, pilot, implementation and then scaling.Monitor and report on the programme progress, performance, quality and outcomes
