About the role
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the Finance team and with the Legal team on various projects, overseeing the legal aspects of our business and providing proper advice to management. If you are a dynamic, detail-oriented, and hands-on lawyer, and want to be part of a growing Fintech and challenging experience, this is your place.What challenges you'll be solving
Take ownership of drafting, negotiating, and providing advice and support on commercial contracts, partnership agreements, financing agreements and corporate agreements, ensuring that they are commercially and legally sound and in line with company objectives and context.
Participate in the design and monitoring of the commercial launch of new products and services.
Coordinate external legal counsels on specific matters, including local law firms in each market.
Proactively look out for ways to improve existing commercial and financing agreements.
Provide business partners with a thoughtful legal perspective, guidance, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Manage relationships with external counsels to ensure efficient project delivery and optimum outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions to complex issues and ensure legal matters are fully understood and duly implemented as part of the project management process.
Develop relationships across our business to identify and manage risks whilst ensuring appropriate commercial outcomes. Actively engage in discussions with senior executives.
Work closely with the commercial and finance teams on a day-to-day basis to provide pragmatic advice on a wide range of matters to ensure our interests are protected, including corporate governance aspects and financing issues.

What you'll need ????????????????
Law degree from an EU university.
6+ years of experience as an attorney at a reputable law firm specializing in commercial law (Corporate, M&A, or Finance) or as an in-house counsel within a fintech or fast-growing tech startup.
Fluency in English (minimum advanced level).
Experience advising high-growth, VC-backed startups or scale-ups is highly desirable.Proven experience advising companies in sophisticated financing transactions. Experience in securitization is highly appreciated. Experience with corporate transactions, complex commercial contracts, and capital markets is a plus.
Strong ability to independently prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organized with a problem-solving mindset, able to quickly identify and address issues.
Creative and flexible approach, with a focus on achieving business-oriented outcomes.
Ability to think critically and apply a risk-based, practical approach to complex legal matters, offering innovative and practical solutions.
