Knowledge of data centers (Rack/Unrack/cabling), provide remote console access, ILO connections
IP Phones configuration and Visio meeting rooms
Experience with ticketing systems
Your Tasks As a Hemmersbach Technician you make the end users at renowned companies happy every day thanks to your friendly and competent demeanour. Direct customer contact with various requirements within the scope of 2nd quite neatly describe the position you would like to have:
Meeting/Visio room
Installation: providing equipment to HCL (who will install the equipment in the rooms + acceptance of the room at the end of installation + CMDB update)
Deinstallation: receiving the equipment removed by HCL + updating CMDB
Datacenter
Installation: transporting equipment from stock to DC (or LER), racking, cable connection (remote control by the India team) + CMDB update: H0B0
Deinstallation: disconnecting, deracking, bringing back to stock + CMDB update
Training room
Weekly visit of meeting rooms to ensure they are functional (checking PCs, keyboards, mice, Windows login banner, etc.)
Phone Major Incident (remotely controlled by India)
Disconnect/reconnect assets that can be phones (IP, analog, IPTrade, Server)
Factory reset of assets
