WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights.
You will collaborate with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory.
You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, you will support, with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic/sector in developing intellectual property knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring the availability of the latest high-quality content.You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Forest Products, Paper, and Packaging business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts.
Forest products, paper, and packaging (FPPP) is a sub-sector of the Industrial Goods Practice Area, covering topics from forestry to wood-based panels, pulp, paper, paperboard, and non-paper packaging.YOU'RE GOOD ATDeep understanding of the FPPP industry and its trends; specific expertise in packaging is a priority.In-depth knowledge of relevant industry resources desired.Expertise in digital, operational, sales, and marketing in the FPPP industry is a plus.Applying FPPP expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account.Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working across time zones.Communicating with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive.Interacting with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.Ability to take ownership and independently manage own work, capacity, and time with limited guidance; capability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Framing, structuring, and sharing intellectual property, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.Working creatively and analytically in a time-limited, problem-solving environment.Flexibility and a curious, creative mindset, open to new things.Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity; propose innovative ideas to commercialize FPPP topics.YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS)1-2+ years of consulting experience in the relevant FPPP Industry required; candidates with consulting experience preferred.In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.Advanced analytical skills.Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.
