WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG's Industrial Goods Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing industry expertise and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. In addition, you will support with guidance from senior colleagues, your topic/sector in developing intellectual property & knowledge assets and managing content on internal BCG websites, ensuring availability of latest high-quality content.
You will also support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Forest Products, Paper and Packaging business, as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to marketing efforts. Forest products, paper and packaging (FPPP) is a sub-sector of the Industrial Goods Practice Area. It covers topics from forestry, forest products such as wood-based panels to pulp, paper, paperboard and non-paper packaging.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Deep understanding of the FPPP industry and its trends. Specific expertise in packaging is a priority.
In-depth know-how of relevant industry resources.
Expertise in digital, operational, sales and marketing in FPPP industry is a plus.
Applying FPPP expertise when contributing to building and deploying a product/tool/data, taking different client contexts into account.
Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working across time zones.
Communicating with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive.
Interacting with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.
Ability to take ownership and independently manage own work, capacity, and time with limited guidance.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
1-2+ years of consulting experience in relevant FPPP Industry required; candidates with consulting experience preferred.
In lieu of consulting experience, 2+ years minimum industry experience required; 3-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Advanced analytical skills.
Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment.
