Your missionAs part of an Agile development team in our Hamburg office, you will work together with our Frontend Developers and UI Designers.
Your main focus is to build a large, highly user interactive web application that is easy to scale, extend, and all modular in a responsive environment.
This includes developing our new e-commerce storefront and all its user-facing interfaces that are built on a microservice-based architecture.
We use modern technologies such as Docker, Node.js, TypeScript / modern JavaScript, React & Redux, and Jest.
Your profileWe're looking for a product-aware engineer, who loves to write code that's DRY, understandable, and easy to maintain by your colleagues, as well as values User Experience.
Solid experience in shipping large scale web applications in JavaScript / TypeScriptProject experience using Node.js (client-server communication)Experience in React as the main library you'll work withSolid to expert front-end knowledge, including HTML and CSSExperience working with GitFamiliar with unit and integration testing (Testing Library, Cypress)Nice to haveA keen interest in current web trends, standards and front-end frameworksPassionate about clean code and Test Driven Development (TDD)Experience with other modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, SolidJS or SvelteFamiliar with continuous integration (e.g.
