About the role:
As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
You will work in a project related to digital construction management space that enables infrastructure organizations to scale execution and optimize their capital investments. You will contribute to the implementation of significant system core features as well as peripheral applications for integration with 3rd party services, where you will be part of the founding engineering team, designing and implementing those capabilities from scratch.
To be successful as a Senior Java Engineer, you should have a specialist level of understanding and skill in developing a broad range of applications and proprietary solutions. A top-notch senior Java developer will be comfortable working independently and be able to deliver top-quality, error-free work on time.
Responsibilities Serve as an integral part in building our dynamic and versatile ecosystem, from design to deployment
Take part in the implementation and expansion of our proprietary APIs used by numerous clients, as well as continuously developing services for our existing Frontend & Mobile clients
Play a key role in researching and integrating cutting-edge technologies
Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications
Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications
Determining application functions and building objectives with the team
Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives
Problem-solving with other team members in the project
Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications
Drafting detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed
Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding
Meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables
Requirements At least 8 years' experience in Java-based programming
Experience with Microservices and SQL Databases
Experienced with AWS (ECS, S3, EC2)
Experience with Docker (Containers, Images, Docker Compose)
Knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries
A strong portfolio of top-class coding and builds to your name
Experience with SaaS products
Experience with build tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes)
Personal skills Good organizational and time-management skills
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members
Meticulous at both analysis and execution
