Senior Java Developer Permanent In Madrid (Spain)

Our customer is a Swiss/German multinational that operates all over the world for more
than 150 years and is one of the leading providers of innovative security and access solutions for selected segments of the fast-growing security industry. More than 16,000 employees and around 2.000M€ revenue. This company maintains its worldwide technology leadership by constantly investing in innovation and product development.
They are looking to hire for their internal team, with a permanent, full time contract, located in Madrid, with some short trips to Switzerland and Germany, with good salary and working conditions the following profile:
A passionate Senior Java Developer who thrives the further implementation of our in-house application for the Technical Order Processing and Configuration of our products. The software interfaces closely with our SAP landscape: ERP, CRM... It is a solution built for us by an external software company.
The initial rollout of the software took place in Austria during 2015 & further rollouts in Europe are being performed and planned for the next 5 years.
Key Responsibilities and tasks:
. Enhance the current platform to meet the additional requirements for upcoming rollouts in Switzerland and across Europe.
. Take the role of a member in an agile Scrum team using JIRA/Confluence.
. Collaborate with Product Owners to define requirements together
. Keep Quality Assurance & Automation practices very present.
. Ensure top notch 3rd level support for your application.
Working Experience:
. Long term Java development experience (min. 5-7 years)
. Practical experience in these technologies: Spring4, Hibernate5, Swing, JDBC, SOAP
. Practical experience with these tools: Maven3, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA
. Deep knowledge of SQL and specially Microsoft SQL Server (2016 Standard Edition currently used)
. Professional working experience with Microsoft Windows
. A broad knowledge of software patterns, OO-design and 3-Tier architecture.
. Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.
. Excellent communication skills in English absolutely mandatory.
