Senior Investment Controller (Asset Management)

We are looking for a Senior Investment Controller for an International Asset Management company located in Madrid.
Functions:
1st line monitoring of investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration in the auditing of internal and external auditors
1st level support for queries from custodian banks, fund management companies, portfolio managers and Legal & Compliance
Testing new rules in the onboarding process for new/changing mandates
Ensuring that existing processes, including documentation, are up to the latest standards
Sharing responsibility for the quality assurance of the data required for investment controlling
Reviewing new/amended mandate agreements in collaboration with the 2nd line
Cooperation and consultation with 2nd line (Investment Controlling in Switzerland)
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in investment compliance at an insurance company, asset manager or bank
Knowledge of current regulatory requirements in asset management
Strong English knowledge required; further languages are welcome.
Experience with BlackRock Aladdin or similar investment monitoring tools, sound knowledge of MS Excel
Analytical skills, networked thinking and a high degree of independence
Very precise and quality-conscious way of working
