Senior Investment Controller (Asset Management)

GuardarWe are looking for a Senior Investment Controller for an International Asset Management company located in Madrid.Functions:1st line monitoring of investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.Collaboration in the auditing of internal and external auditors1st level support for queries from custodian banks, fund management companies, portfolio managers and Legal & ComplianceTesting new rules in the onboarding process for new/changing mandatesEnsuring that existing processes, including documentation, are up to the latest standardsSharing responsibility for the quality assurance of the data required for investment controllingReviewing new/amended mandate agreements in collaboration with the 2nd lineCooperation and consultation with 2nd line (Investment Controlling in Switzerland)Requirements:At least 3 years of experience in investment compliance at an insurance company, asset manager or bankKnowledge of current regulatory requirements in asset managementStrong English knowledge required; further languages are welcome.Experience with BlackRock Aladdin or similar investment monitoring tools, sound knowledge of MS ExcelAnalytical skills, networked thinking and a high degree of independenceVery precise and quality-conscious way of workingSector: Banca#J-18808-Ljbffr
