Senior International Accountant
Day to day accounting
Follow up of customer and supplier transactions
Monthly reconciliation and reporting, including accruals and provisions
Reporting and reconciliation of VAT and Social Security
Other mandatory reporting relating to financial information and taxes
Preparation or coordination of annual financial statements and corporate income tax forms
Coordinate with audit teams as main local point of contact
Improvement and streamlining of accounting routines and processes
Training and supporting junior accountants and local operations team
Assist with ad-hoc tasks and in discussions with the General Managers and the Group Finance team on accounting and reporting
Related topics
Support Group Finance with onboarding and accounting for new markets, Group-wide process and system improvements etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong accounting understanding
Higher education in economics/accounting, minimum bachelor's degree
Professional level of either French, Italian, or Portuguese
Professional level of English
Strong understanding of VAT, Social security, and other taxes, experience from accounting and reporting
Prior experience with ERP, preferably Netsuite
Experienced user of MS Office or G Suite
Good communication skills: Listening and explanatory skills
Organization and structuring abilities, helping pursue a large number of tasks
Accurate but has the ability to focus on time and materiality
Reliable and meeting deadlines
