.The main purpose of the WebBeds Internal Audit function is to assist the company in achieving its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Control processes.The position of Senior Internal Auditor offers a steep learning curve, high career visibility, frequent and direct exposure to company Senior Management and the potential to transition into other roles within WebBeds or Webjet in several fantastic locations over time.Job Title: Senior Internal AuditorDepartment: WebBeds Internal Audit/ FinanceLocation (primary): Palma de Mallorca, LondonKey Responsibilities: Execute the Annual Audit Plan, which involves scheduling, coordinating, and conducting operational, compliance, IT, and financial audits.Conduct finance, business process, IT, or compliance reviews to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial statements, key business processes, compliance and/or technology. Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.Identify key risks and controls and test internal controls accordingly.Prepare reports based upon audit results, audit documentation and client responses.Effectively communicate audit findings via update and closing meetings with management.Monitor timely implementation of agreed actions and report progress to management.Other Responsibilities: Conduct ad hoc reviews and special investigations (including fraud) as required.Support the company's enterprise risk management process.Support the Internal Audit Director in managing external co-sourced auditors in the scoping and performance of co-sourced audits.Support the Internal Audit Director in implementing and continuously enhancing internal audit tools, processes, and methodologies.Level of Financial Responsibility: Individual contributor, responsible for direct task execution and deliverables.Key Measures: Execute the Internal Audit Plan.Monitor timely implementation of agreed actions and report progress to Management.Support the Enterprise Risk Management Process.Conduct ad hoc reviews and special investigations (incl. fraud) as required.Essential Qualifications & Knowledge: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or another relevant field.At least 3 years' experience with a "Big 4" accounting firm, a consulting company or a large corporation's internal audit department.Essential Experience, Skills and Behavioural Requirements: General knowledge of risk/control frameworks (COSO, COBIT).A professional accounting/audit certification (CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA) is preferred.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.Willingness to travel globally.Preferable to have experience with SAP.Very good data analysis skills.Goal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal and strong team working capabilities
