Offer Description The selected candidate will perform the following tasks:
Design, review and advise for the monitoring network installation
Contribute to the development of conceptual models and support their conversion into numerical, integrated hydrological and ecohydrological models in support of nature-based solutions.
Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of nature-based solutions for climate adaptation and resilience in Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems
Support the development of geospatial database management systems and decision support systems
Assist the Project Coordinator in the tasks of the scientific-technical WP of the project
Participate in the meetings of the executive committee (EXcom), DRYAD project Consortium, and internal meetings of the UDC group
A candidate should have knowledge and extensive experience proven by scientific papers in conceptualizing hydrological systems and integrating data acquired through modern techniques of data acquisition such as automated field monitoring, remote sensing, and geophysics in Integrated Hydrological Models.
