Your profile: We are currently looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Hardware Engineer to grow our technical team in the Barcelona office.
As an addition to our in-house development, you will help develop hardware and electronics for the next generation of 3D printers by collaborating with the firmware, software and mechanics teams.
Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing embedded electronic systems and subsystems, including piezo drivers, power electronics and motor controlCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, firmware, and other electrical engineers, to integrate electronic systems into our productsPreparing and reviewing the design documentation for product release including specifications, schematics and bill of materialsProviding support in production and certification activitiesYou´ll fit great in this role if you have: Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, preferably MSc qualificationAt least 5 years of experience in hardware development, preferably in a fast-growing team and environmentExperience in designing electrical systems with Microprocessor, memory devices, power system, high-speed transceivers, and various serial interfaces such as I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, and other high-speed signalsStrong experience in power electronics principles, including gate drivers, power supplies and protection circuitsProficiency in Schematic and PCB Design (Eagle, KiCad)Experience with PCB manufacturing, assembly, and testing processesStrong laboratory skills with electronic equipment for testing, debugging and verification of prototypesFluent speaking and excellent writing skills in EnglishWillingness to travel abroad (20%)Why us?
