A leading multinational company in the games and toys sector is looking for a Senior Group Brand Manager for its headquarters in Barcelona (Spain) or Zaandam (Netherlands), equally.Reporting to the Group Brand Director, will oversee brand plans, portfolio, and product management within the Group.
This role involves managing a team of brand managers and being responsible for multiple brands across various markets.
Key responsibilities include launching new products, adapting existing ones, and redesign packaging.
This position requires a deep understanding of the market and consumers, working closely with various teams to develop and execute both short-term and long-term.
Main responsibilities: Team management: lead and inspire a team of group brand managers.
Market and consumer insights: get full understanding of the market and the consumer preferences.
Strategic planning: develop and execute long-term (3-year) and short-term (1-year) brand and product strategies.
Implement brand strategy plans across all markets.
Sales performance: Proactively manage and monitor sales performance, adjusting as needed.
Collaborate on trade marketing, product development, innovation and local marketing and sales teams.
Product and quality improvement: continuously initiate improvements in product quality and diversification of product assortment.
Briefings: Prepare and coordinate briefings for product development, packaging artwork, user manuals and brand-related content.
Training: conduct product training sessions.Research: support and brief qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for brands and products.
Collaborate internally with Central, Group and Local Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Innovation.
Externally with licensed partners, distribution partners, copywriters, and agencies.Requirements:Skills: Leadership, Communication, Team player, Decision making and problem solving; Consumer focus and commercially minded; Creativity, and Prioritization.Education: University degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Previous team management experience.
Strong project management skills.
Experience managing multiple projects with deadlines.
Affinity with the Group products; knowledge of the toy market is preferred.
Fluent in English is mandatory.
