Partner with the bestAs a Global Commodity Leader, you will function as the business and industry sourcing expert driving key initiatives for Electrical and Electromechanical commodities, partnering with the Business Units and regional teams from the Industrial Solutions and Industrial Product (Inspections only) vectors of Industrial Energy Technology. You will be responsible for developing commodity strategies, achieving cost out targets, managing supply risk and managing outcomes and relationships with strategic suppliers.
ResponsibilitiesDeploying, optimizing, and communicating a competitive commodity Global Sourcing strategyTeam up with Business Units and Regions to lead the global strategic supplier base rationalization, selection and qualificationSupporting Business Units in reducing risks and drive continuous improvement through effective contracting and supplier management activities.Contributing to the definition and deployment of emerging market growth and localization strategyCommunicating with business leaders and stakeholders regarding the status of projects, process compliance, business procedures, and policies.Serving as a business partner to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes while ensuring compliance with company requirements and procedures.Developing and managing complex and global supplier contracts and strategic relationshipsDriving business unit strategic initiatives under the COE responsibilityMentoring and coaching other commodity leaders in the organizationFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Show major experience in Commodity Management.Have the ability to leverage internal and external data sources to create strategic and category plans.Be a skilled negotiator who can both plan and execute sourcing strategies in support of stakeholder's business needs.Have excellent communication & influencing skills.Have strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.Be fluent in English both oral and written.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
