Job Description About Enterprise Capabilities

We are currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Design Manager to join our ambitious and experienced team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Global Delivery Center (Poland/Spain).
The responsibilities of this role include: Works as part of a ground and tunnelling engineering team with other engineers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India..). Undertakes non-routine, medium complex projects supported by EC.Coordinates and leads small design teams focused on ground engineering design (as bearing capacity for foundations, earthworks, stability and settlement analysis, etc.) and tunnelling for a specific project.Conducts noncomplex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, construction techniques.Works autonomously within established procedures and practices, with latitude to determine work priorities.Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.Ensures that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met.Prepares complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff. Qualifications Minimum Requirements
- Proven track record of working on ground and tunneling engineering designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+7 years) for Transportation and Water Projects.
- Experience with international regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in the use of specific ground engineering and tunnelling.
