A great opportunity for an experienced full-stack web developer to innovate by developing a new web application from start to finish to support users in searching datasets important for our researchers to deliver life-changing medicines.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop a web application
Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements
Create mockups to quickly validate ideas and designs with users
Create the web software specification
Skills and Experience:
Proven senior experience in developing front-end web applications using Java and Spring Boot
Developing user interfaces with an eye for aesthetics
Developing website search functionality
Building applications on top of APIs
Using search engine tools like Solr or Elastic Search
Experience working with biomedical data would be a plus
Experience with Vaadin preferable but not essential
Experience with JavaScript would be a plus
