Senior Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails Blue Code is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Ruby on Rails to join our team in Alicante. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new project focusing on an exciting e learning platform. The role is part of a new team in this department, with at least one senior member expected to assume team lead responsibilities. The initial phase of the role will involve a transition period with the existing team to facilitate knowledge transfer. RESPONSIBILITIES Assume a leading role in the maintenance, design and improvement of a large scale Ruby based platform Actively participate in knowledge transfer sessions with the outgoing development team Design, develop and deploy new features Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure code quality and apply best practices Mentor junior / medior developers and conduct code reviews Requirements Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer  Extensive experience with Ruby (on Rails) and Ruby Gems Experience with Elastic Search, PostgreSQL and AWS Frontend development skills, including proficiency with SASS, Slim, Webpack, Backbone and VueJS Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor other colleagues NICE TO HAVE: Experience in an e-commerce setting Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or similar Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies Negotiable salary depending on experience and/or skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
