What your day will look like: Lead the design and development of web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. Develop and maintain API endpoints that are scalable, robust, and secure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions, particularly for web scraping projects. Implement web services on Google Cloud, including cloud functions, cloud engine, and BigQuery. Work closely with other developers and technical leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Participate in technical meetings and provide insights to optimize project outcomes. Ensure timely delivery of projects within the planned sprints. The experience you'll need: Extensive experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails– this is essential. Strong skills in designing and developingAPI endpoints. Experience withGoogle Cloud services(cloud functions, cloud engine, BigQuery) is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluent in English; additional languages like Italian are a plus. Some of our benefits: 50% discount on private health care with Cigna.
