The Senior Full Stack Developer / Architect leads identification, assessment and design of compliant solutions addressing business challenges, provides expert advice, identifies functional/non-functional requirements, collaborates with project teams, organizational unit stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project, and leads the development.

Your role As a Senior Full Stack Developer / Architect your main responsibilities will involve: Lead design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and looking ahead to understand future technology options. Serving as technical expert in a specific process or product area, conducting process reviews and initiating change to contribute towards continuous improvement of services to internal customers. Work closely and under-direction from senior architects, e.g. solution architects or functional area architects, to execute given assignments, and ensure that the IT architectural standards and practices are followed throughout the project/program Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, design, development, operations) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Define right technologies (front-end frameworks, back-end, databases) for projects. Deep dive into specific technical areas to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in full-stack development. Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to mentor and guide junior developers. Develop and document technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the team. Working knowledge of DevOps to ensure smooth deployment pipelines and infrastructure management. Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization. Coaching and training more junior team members. Develop, propose and lead the implementation of initiatives to improve processes, develop policies and support innovation in the Zurich Resilience Solutions field Provide support to Zurich Resilience Solutions platforms support team when required in resolving queries/errors and ensuring technological problems are resolved quickly and efficiently Your Skills and Experience As a a Senior Full Stack Developer / Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Technology expertise in programming languages (JS/TS and C#) and expertise with Azure Cloud tools and technologies: Frontend frameworks: React (preferred), Angular, Vue CSS: Bootstrap (preferred), Tailwind Templating: Liquid (in conjunction with Microsoft Power Pages) Design systems: Fluent, Material Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, App Services Azure Functions CI/CD – using Azure DevOps Virtualization / Container tools: Docker, Kubernates NoSQL databases: CosmosDb, MongoDb Solid understanding of back-end development concepts (programming languages, web frameworks, APIs). Deep knowledge of security best practices and concepts to to design secure applications Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Pages, and Dataverse Advanced Communication skills in written and spoken English Proficiency in Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project Experience working in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps) Team player who is skilled at building up and managing stakeholder relationships Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment Good self-management skills and stress resilience Highly organized with very good attention to detail Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field Experience in project management is a must Spanish and German language skills are a plus Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally Commercial Insurance is of advantage Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 100% - you choose; with option to work abroad up to 25 days yearly Over 300 euros net to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance Wide range of internal and external trainings, including free English, German and Spanish classes depending on the needs Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits Life, accident, and Health Insurance Collective Life Retirement Plan 2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you Special banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discounts Functional diversity benefits Events : summer and Christmas party, different activities like hiking, investment, beach volley club and many more No dress code #LI-Hybrid
