Containerization & Orchestration: Docker for containerized application management, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments.
Databases: PostgreSQL for relational data storage, Redis and MongoDB, designed for scalability and high performance.
API Design: OpenAPI standards for clear, maintainable, and scalable API development CI/CD: GHA, continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines enabling fast, efficient deployments.
Testing: Unit tests, automated end-to-end (e2e) testing, quality gates to ensure code quality and reliability.
Collaboration Tools: Agile workflows powered by Jira and Confluence to keep our teams aligned and efficient.
About the Role: As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be a key player in our tech team, driving the development of user interfaces that power fundcraft's digital-native platform.
You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate business needs into robust, high-performance web applications.
You will also collaborate on maintaining and optimising our AWS-based production infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture and development of high-impact frontend components, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with technical goals.
Drive key technical decisions, particularly in areas of architecture, design patterns, and frontend best practices.
Establish and enforce coding standards and testing practices across the frontend team.
Conduct code reviews with a focus on quality, security, and maintainability.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and career growth.
Share knowledge through regular workshops, documentation, and pair programming sessions.
Partner with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and Backend Engineers to ensure project alignment and cohesive user experiences.
Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
Take full ownership of specific features or components, from development through deployment and maintenance.
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within the frontend infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and methodologies, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
Lead initiatives for improving frontend tooling, workflows, and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer working with React and Redux.
Proficient in Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and RESTful APIs.
Familiar with Figma, Git (Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket), JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
Fluency in both spoken and written English.
Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish.
