About the role
Location: Spain
You'll be part of the Engineering team and adding value to our applications, allowing people to reach the best experiences in their cities.
You'll be working with the latest technologies on the frontend, surrounded by highly qualified professionals like you in a highly scalable and performance-oriented way.
Key responsibilities
Design easy-to-use, performant, and exciting web experiences serving thousands of users around the world.
Work as part of an agile, cross-functional team with other full stack, mobile, backend, and frontend engineers, together with the product designers.
Understand the technical trade-offs of different solutions, implement them, and make them scalable.
Have a product-oriented mindset and work towards the best outcomes for the product.
Collaborate with the larger team via regular design critiques and working sessions.
What would you do at Fever?
On your first month in Fever:
Fully integrate into the team.
Participate in plannings, groomings, and retrospectives of the team, and meet the departments of Fever.
Get familiar with Fever's tech stack and frameworks used to develop our applications.
Attend some of the Fever Original experiences like Candlelight.
After 3 months in Fever:
Come up with solutions to new difficult problems and create new business opportunities.
Have responsibilities over some of the shared libraries across the teams.
Participate in some of the hackdays or hackathons we organize with other teams, and get to know everybody from engineering.
On your 6th month in Fever:
Improve performance, scalability, and infrastructure of the applications.
Mentor other new joiners to the team.
Participate in team-building activities organized for your team or the whole engineering team.
About you
You're smart, get stuff done, have great energy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Deep knowledge of the Frontend Ecosystem, having clear concepts about Single-page Applications, Multi-page Applications, web rendering techniques, hydration in all its forms, and more.
Experience with performance profiling.
Knowledge about CDN, edge runtimes, and caching systems.
Deep knowledge of Typescript, Angular (>= 16), and NodeJS.
Experience developing server code with NodeJS: APIs, scripting, and assets management.
Comfortable with CI/CD tasks.
Experience working through cross-browser compatibility issues.
Know how to code a responsive design.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, doing API-first development, and working with OpenAPI specifications.
Comply with defined coding standards, creating quality code. You can't think of code without tests.
Proficient in business English.
It would be a plus if you...
Knowledge on Svelte and Astro.
Knowledge on Docker.
Comfortable coding on platforms outside of the front.
Have worked with high-load websites.

Talent Interview - 1h: An intro to Fever, our culture, and a conversation about your background and experience.
Engineering Manager Interview - 1h: A deep dive into your technical expertise and your opportunity to ask anything you need to know about your day-to-day at Fever.
Technical Assignment: Your opportunity to demonstrate all you know! We would like to receive it back within 3 days.
Team Interview - 1.5h: A discussion about your proposed solution to the technical challenge and your chance to make sure you know everything you need about Fever.
