This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements.Role ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards.Coordinate and manage the external audit process.Prepare monthly management accounts with informative commentary.Analyse financial data for decision-making.Maintain and enhance internal controls for financial reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Assist in the preparation of management reports for the Board of Directors.Communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the financial reporting function.Support the integration of new systems to enhance financial reporting capabilities.Experience / CompetencesEssentialHold a professional accounting qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.Deep experience of financial reporting within a global, large business.Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS financial reporting.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with regulatory compliance and internal controls.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with finance ERPs.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.DesiredExperience in the financial services or data analytics industry.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Band & LevelManager / 6Not The Perfect Fit?We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't align perfectly with every aspect of the job description.
