Overview:As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
Reporting to the Finance Manager or Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and contribute to the achievement of company objectives.
Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flows.
Prepare budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis reports to assess financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Management: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Consolidate financial data from multiple sources and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze cost structures, cost drivers, and cost trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Conduct profitability analysis by product, customer, and market segment to optimize resource allocation and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to evaluate vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and mitigate risks.
Business Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance and track progress towards strategic goals.
Develop dashboards and reports to visualize performance metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Monitor trends and deviations from targets, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
Financial Forecasting and Scenario Analysis: Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of changes in market conditions, business strategies, and economic factors.
Develop scenario-based financial forecasts to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and risk management decisions.
Communicate findings and implications of scenario analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
Ad Hoc Financial Projects: Lead or participate in ad hoc financial projects, such as mergers and acquisitions (MA) due diligence, capital investment analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Provide financial support and analysis for cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and analytical tools.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
