Senior Finance Solutions Data Analyst - (Pe-732)

Detalles de la oferta

Overview

Are you ready to shape the future of finance solutions for a global powerhouse like PepsiCo? Join us as a Senior Finance Solutions Data Analyst and drive innovation in our data management and analytics.

In this pivotal role, you'll translate business requirements into robust data designs and technical solutions for PepsiCo's global financial performance data repository known as 'SPOT' (Single Point of Truth), covering international (non-US) and domestic (US) business sectors. You'll collaborate with multiple IT data engineering and business reporting teams to implement, enhance, and sustain a diverse portfolio of solutions.

As a Senior Global Finance Solutions Data Analyst, you'll not only oversee key project deliverables but also serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for junior analysts, guiding them through their tasks and fostering their professional growth. You'll play a key role in coaching and developing junior analysts and support the recruitment of new team members as needed.

Working within an agile framework (typically using the Scaled Agile 'SAFe' methodology), you'll manage customer feature requests, define functional and technical user stories for each Program Increment, and work closely with data engineering and Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF) teams to ensure successful delivery of both functional and technical scopes.

Responsibilities

Your day to day with us:

Develop and Maintain Solution Designs & Data Architectures: You will ensure that SPOT solution designs and data models are continuously updated to meet the latest business requirements. Leading the technical roadmap, you'll support anticipated growth in data volumes and ensure that the data architecture evolves in line with our strategic objectives.

Translate and Communicate Business Requirements: Collaborate closely with Financial Planning & Reporting teams across the world to translate their business requirements into functional and data model designs. You will also work with Global S&T (Strategy & Transformation) teams to align on data architecture and technical deliverables, ensuring seamless communication across all IT delivery teams and partners.

Prioritize and Lead Implementations: You will manage the implementation of changes and new developments, setting priorities and leading efforts to integrate updates into the existing SPOT framework. Your role will be pivotal in driving these changes and ensuring they meet the needs of the business.

Sustain and Enhance: You will lead the diagnosis and resolution of system and user driven errors, performing root cause analysis to prevent known issues reoccurring. As the solution SME you will coordinate the resolution of issues across multiple teams.

Coach & Grow the SPOT IT Solution Team: As a senior analyst, you will mentor and upskill junior functional and data analysts, guiding their professional development and helping them advance into senior roles. You will also enhance the wider team's knowledge of new architectures and technologies relevant to the Finance of the Future program.

Influence and Innovate: Your role will involve influencing the design of SPOT to ensure it becomes a best-in-class end-to-end data lake. You'll contribute to Cockpit, a key element of our global digital reporting transformation program, aimed at evolving our planning and reporting capabilities. This includes standardizing reporting platforms, creating real-time decision support, and eliminating outdated reporting methods.

Qualifications

What will you need to succeed?

Solid Experience in Data Warehousing and Modeling: At least 5 years of experience in data warehouse development, data modeling, and data transformation. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into effective business solutions.

Experience in Finance Solutions: At least 2 years of experience delivering finance solutions, with a strong understanding of FP&A processes and terminology.

Azure Experience: Familiarity with working with data in Azure Data Lake. You will be confident querying data in Databricks and be able to understand Data Factory pipelines.

Passion for Data and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a love for working with data and solving complex problems. Experience in leveraging and developing systems, with attention to detail in handling large volumes of data.

Agile Methodology Experience: Proven experience working within an Agile program and project environment, showcasing your ability to adapt and thrive in iterative and collaborative settings.

Coaching and Leadership Skills: Ability to mentor and develop junior team members, helping them grow into senior roles.

Evaluative Thinking and Depth of Experience: Capability to tackle complex issues with evaluative thinking, leveraging extensive experience to drive solutions.

Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and boundaries, ensuring alignment, achieving common goals.
