We are embracing the agile methodology at Everest Insurance, and this is an exciting opportunity for an individual to be here at the start of our journey.The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving outcomes for Everest by defining finance products to enhance the productivity of the finance teams. They will maximise the use of technology to drive efficiency in financial processes and reporting as well as help us build agility into our approach and thinking.Based on the requests of your finance team colleagues, you will be responsible for designing and documenting business requirements relating to systems enhancements and reporting as well as communicating the requirements to the IT and data teams in the established demand forums and Product Increment (PI) planning sessions.You will be expected to have detailed knowledge of finance systems as well as the underpinning data components and flows. You will bring a creative and can do mindset to help finance transform its data and reporting processes. You will work with the Finance teams to identify requirements and develop prototypes and proofs of concept. With your IT colleagues, you will analyse and propose solutions to drive value for the international finance community. With the product manager, and as a key finance liaison with IT, you will be the driving force to ensure finance related deliverables are met as per the agreed scope and in a timely fashion.Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Understand finance user needs, including finance systems, processes and data structure in order to draft requirements and communicate to data and IT teams.With the Finance leadership team, prioritise IT and reporting enhancements which will improve efficiency and unlock value
