Senior Finance Analyst
The Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) is part of the Finance organization and focuses on creating high-quality analysis, reporting, and insights on financial performance & forecasting on Hotels. The role involves interacting with all levels of the organization to help drive the business forward. The SFA operates in a global team and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful individual possesses excellent financial knowledge, owns technical deliverables, prioritizes workload effectively, and communicates clearly to Management.
What you'll do:
Support the forecast process by maintaining financial models and standard templates, ensuring quality, accuracy, and analytical reviews.
Execute reporting of financial performance, analyze trends and variances, and provide insights to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with business partners to drive understanding of financial impacts and identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
Communicate business results to stakeholders to enable business decision-making across the company.
Deliver reporting on pre-defined metrics for our hotel line of business.
Contribute to financial analyses impacting strategic and commercial projects.
Simplify modeling, forecasting & reporting to improve efficiency and performance.
Who you are:
2+ years of previous working experience in an international environment, preferably with a finance background.
Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Economics, Mathematics, or any other related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
Proficient with PowerPoint presentations. Knowledge of database extraction languages (i.e., SQL) with Excel proficiency and a willingness to learn.
Experience with Teradata/Oracle/Tableau to automate reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to work with people at all levels across the organization.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities.
Advanced-level competencies in problem-solving skills, appetite for business impact, and execution.
Self-driven, curious, and proactive to understand, learn, and improve.
Up to date with current technologies and financial developments.
