Our environmental consulting team operates from a modern office in Malaga. This Perth based position involves both office and field-based works. Our environmental consulting team undertake various projects including flora, fauna and vegetation surveys, revegetation planning, environmental monitoring and management planning throughout all bioregions in WA.

Project Management: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, budgeting, and timeline management; strong organisational skills are crucial.Business Development: assisting with business development initiatives, including client liaison and management.Leadership Skills: ability to mentor graduate consultants, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative team environment.Regulatory Knowledge: in-depth understanding of environmental laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels, as well as experience with permitting processes.Communication Skills: excellent written and verbal communication abilities for reporting findings, preparing proposals, and presenting to clients or stakeholders; this includes the ability to convey complex information clearly.Technical Proficiency: proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (excel, word, outlook) and familiarity with relevant software tools for GIS and data analysis.Field Experience: hands-on experience with fieldwork, including data collection, site assessments, and environmental monitoring.You must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science (or similar).5+ years of relevant and proven work experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on WA flora, fauna.Available to work 5 full workdays per week.Full Australian working rights.Manual WA Drivers Licence: C class or higher required.National Police clearance.About Us Natural Area is a wholly Western Australian, family owned and operated company.
