What makes an amazing Senior Engineering Manager at BusuuExperience guiding teams on how to prioritise short-term firefighting with long-term initiatives.Strong cross-organisation stakeholder management.Deep understanding on how to help data and analytics teams grow through mentorship and personal development.Collaborating closely with Product and Stakeholders developing and driving the strategy and vision for your teams.Line manage, mentor and grow the engineers responsible for running the squad(s).Taking accountability for the technical vision, strategy and processes adoption within your teams, supporting fellow EMs to ensure alignment.Lead organisational changes within the scope of your squad(s) with the capacity to influence others and set new engineering baselines.Work closely with the Director of Engineering and other senior engineering leadership on the direction, strategy and planning for the Engineering Department.Not ticking all the boxes is not a reason to not apply; you will have the opportunity to grow within the needed areas.
