This role is dedicated to overseeing and developing Engineering Managers, ensuring they have the support, knowledge, and resources to lead their teams effectively.
Unlike direct involvement in project deliveries, Senior Engineering Managers focus on strategic alignment, leadership development, and operational excellence across the engineering teams.
Their primary goal is to cultivate an environment of technical and managerial excellence, driving the CoE's success through effective people management and strategic resource allocation.
YOUR CHALLENGEStrategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a clear vision for the future of engineering within the CoE, setting strategic priorities and guiding Engineering Managers to align their teams with these objectives.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational aspects of engineering management, including resource allocation, budget management, and staffing strategies, to ensure the efficient delivery of engineering projects.
Leadership Development: Create and implement development programs for Engineering Managers, focusing on enhancing their leadership capabilities, technical acumen, and ability to drive team performance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, negotiating and aligning engineering capabilities with business needs and strategic directions.
