Senior Electronics Hardware Designer Engineering Responsibilities We have an opportunity within our Engineering Department for a Senior Electronics Hardware Designer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:Develop PCB and hardware designs for power and control electronics products.Lead the definition of components and perform cost analysis.Development of basic software for the integration of application software.Execution of ongoing projects.Join decision team for Product Development strategy.Tasks Work with internal team and client parties to identify and define system requirements.Direct and execute the research and development of new architectures and topologies of power converters for applications such as electric and hybrid vehicles, photovoltaic solar energy, etc.Direct the design and subsequent verification and validation of product concepts in the R&D laboratories.Mentor and train experienced staff members.Requirements Master's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with more than 4 years of experience in research and development of power converters or doctorate in power electronics/electrical and electronic engineering (or similar) with more than 2 years of experience in the sector.Experience in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control, and algorithms.Previous experience of more than 3 years in the development of hardware designs for power applications.Previous experience in the automotive or renewable energy industry.Valuable previous experience in SiC or GaN technology.Demonstrated experience in initiatives to develop new technologies and innovation.High level of self-confidence and autonomous goal-oriented work style, "can do" attitude, eager to learn new things and willing to think outside the box.Fluency in English, other languages will be valued.Commitment to new challenges and desire to enjoy a dynamic and motivated team.Other Notes You must be eligible to work in the European Union to be considered for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
