AECOM Spain Building Services Engineering team is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client's needs all around the world.Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer capable of leading and developing teams to complete both small and large projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading technically, designing custom solutions, mentoring mid-level and junior staff, and developing calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications for the electrical design work on exciting and complex projects.Responsibilities:Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.Make major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff.Plan design work, calculate costs, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects.Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.Maintain accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.Act as an adviser and review correspondence prepared by junior project team members.Attend project meetings, or when appropriate, delegate activities.Meet with clients, prepare proposals and presentations while maintaining good client relations.Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with Electrical Emphasis from an accredited program.At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc).Proficiency in engineering calculation software for electrical discipline (CANECO, ETAP, etc).We celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team.
