About the roleWe are looking for a passionate, creative and proactive Senior Editor to help us deliver our ambitious ELT publishing plan. You will work with an experienced and global team on the development of key Schools products that build on our trusted reputation as a quality University Publisher that helps millions of people worldwide unlock their potential.
As a key member of the team, you will help to deliver exciting, new, innovative course materials for learners of English, including a broad range of both print and digital content. Your remit will require independent management of a variety of course materials, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget whilst meeting customer needs.
About youYou're an experienced editorial professional looking for a new challenge. What you bring to the team is:
Excellent editorial project management skills and proven experience of delivering print and digital components on schedule and to budget.Experience of collaborating effectively with authors, in-house teams, and external freelancers and suppliers.The ability to develop learning materials which are fun, motivating, and shaped by key market insights.Knowledge of learning and assessment methodologies (with particular experience of Cambridge Exam qualifications).Confidence in using a variety of tools and systems in your day-to-day editorial and project management work.A positive approach to general editorial administrative tasks.An appetite to explore new ways of developing products that are highly relevant to the challenges facing Schools markets today.Rewards and benefitsWe will support you to be at your best in work and to live well outside of it.
