Your focus will be on enabling our product teams to deliver the product at great pace & quality.
Your job will consist of improving our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, enhancing the infrastructure automation for testing or deploying the code and contributing to the high availability, scalability and observability of our platform.You will play a crucial role in building, deploying, and supporting the product that empowers hotels worldwide.
Our current setup leverages AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code, with our infrastructure hosted on AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Global Accelerator, Lambda, and SQS.
We utilize Bitbucket Pipelines for CI/CD, and New Relic and Sentry for observability.Your mission, should you choose to accept it:Work closely with both product engineering teams to design and support scalable and reliable solutionsImplement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, enhancing the automation of build, test, deployment, and release processesCollaborate with different teams to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies into the existing setupMonitor pipelines performance & reliability and proactively identify areas that require adjustments or improvementsAssist in the design and development of infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormationOwn the process from development to production, including troubleshooting and resolving platform-related issuesContribute to planning, retrospectives, and other agile process meetingsShare and document best practices and lessons learnedIntroducing and advocating for DevOps mindset within our teamsSupporting our shift to macro-services architecture (moving away from monolithic one)Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for real-time insights on the CI/CD platformImproving CI/CD pipelinesPropose and evaluate new tooling (e.G.
