Your mission: To streamline the software development lifecycle and bridge the gap between development, operations, and quality assurance teams. Focus on automating processes, improving collaboration, and implementing infrastructure as code to enhance efficiency, agility, and reliability of software delivery. Ultimately, the goal is to achieve faster time to market for software products while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.
What will you do: Configure, install, update and monitor a Kubernetes cluster, including creating and configuring pods, replication controllers, services, configuration files and more. Infrastructure Automation: Writing scripts and tools to automate Kubernetes installation and configuration, configuration management, monitoring and debugging. Optimizing Kubernetes cluster performance, including setting up a monitoring system, optimizing resources, eliminating bottlenecks, etc. Version Control: Version control of the application, configuration and infrastructure, including setting up a version control system such as Git. Ensuring the security of the Kubernetes cluster, including setting up access to the cluster, managing certificates, authentication and authorization, security monitoring, and more. Manage application settings and configuration in Kubernetes, including setting environment variables, storing secrets, managing configuration settings, and more. Debugging and testing applications in Kubernetes, including setting up a test environment, debugging tools, error monitoring, and more. Development team support: providing support and assistance to the development team in working with Kubernetes, including setting up the development environment, CI/CD integration, etc. What you bring: Deep knowledge of Kubernetes: experience with Kubernetes, knowledge of its core components and architecture, ability to deploy and scale Kubernetes clusters. Ability to automate the processes of deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Helm. Experience with Docker containers and the use of containerization in application development and delivery. System administration: knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience with monitoring, logging and backup systems. Cloud Proficiency: Knowledge of major cloud providers such as AWS and experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, CloudFormation and CloudWatch. Experience with CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
