Your mission: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and optimising our core infrastructure tools and services. You will work closely with development and other DevOps teams to ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DevOps tools, infrastructure access management, and containerisation technologies, with a focus on on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and administer core DevOps tools for version control, build, configuration management, etc.
- Lead efforts in refining and improving the CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
- Manage and maintain OS updates, ensuring systems are secure and up-to-date.
- Oversee infrastructure access management, ensuring secure and efficient access control.
- Build, maintain, and optimise container images and repositories, ensuring they are secure and reliable.
- Administer and maintain monitoring systems ensuring proactive monitoring of infrastructure and services.
Minimum Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory for maintenance and administration.
- Strong expertise in Debian Linux OS updates, testing, and system management.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks for infrastructure automation.
- Proven experience in infrastructure access management for securing and managing access to critical systems.
- Hands-on experience with building containers, maintaining base images, and managing container repositories.
- Proficient in the maintenance and administration of monitoring systems such as Zabbix and Prometheus/Thanos.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud platforms, particularly with fundamental AWS services such as EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Hand-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python or Golang for building custom tools and automation.
- Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
It'll also be an advantage if you have experience in:
- Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
- Knowledge of TradingView
