At CORUS we are looking for a Senior Developer to join our team on an international project.
Location: Remote from Spain You will: Development and implementation of a risk assesment solution.
Implement APIs to ingest geolocation data and return peril likelihood and impact.
Assist in developing the user interface for geolocation mapping.
Integrate the system with risk management and underwriting systems.
Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to ensure the solution meets business requirements Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Develop and maintain algorithms for risk quantification, including Likelihood and Loss Estimate calculations Implementation and maintenance of the "Scenario Builder" feature for developing risk scenarios Contribute to the deployment and operation of the system on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Write unit & integration test cases You should have: Around 8 years of experience in software development.
English proficiency.
Strong experience in .NET backend development using languages such as C# & Python.
UI/Front End Web Application Development experience ( JavaScript; Angular ) .
Google Maps API development experience.
Experience with API integration and microservices architecture.
Strong experience with data modelling, algorithm design, and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in developing and implementing complex algorithms.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to develop scalable and maintainable systems.
Understanding of geospatial data and mapping technologies.
Good knowledge of risk management and underwriting processes.
