Prepare sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings of clothing designs for presentation and production purposes. Select suitable fabrics, materials, and colors for clothing designs, considering factors like quality, durability, and cost. Collaborate with the design team, pattern makers, and garment technicians to bring clothing designs to life. Stay updated on fashion trends, textile innovations, and production techniques to create innovative and competitive designs. Conduct fittings and make adjustments to clothing prototypes to ensure proper fit and functionality. Communicate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process and ensure design integrity is maintained. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field. +5 years experience designing for kidswear brands. Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong artistic skills and a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques. Knowlege of print design is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts and ideas effectively.
