We aim to connect people in these cities with their passion for travel, in an enjoyable and increasingly sustainable way.We are hiring a Senior Data Scientist who has experience in interacting with different cultural environments and can work in a challenging high-growth atmosphere.What you will do: Combine independent problem-solving tasks with proactive integration in a highly dynamic team.
Explore different data sources to identify, define and develop new process optimization strategies.
Maintain, update and improve existing algorithms and machine learning models.
Explore current industry trends and recent academic research to update and enhance the in-house workflows.
Collaborate closely with the Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics projects, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data science strategies.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership to data scientists, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
Lead by example in applying best practices, methodologies, and tools for data analysis, modeling, and software development.
What you will need: Degree in analytical field (e.g.
Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or other technical field) is a must.
Master Degree in Data Science, AI, Applied Maths, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning or similar will be a plus.
5+ years of experience in machine learning, optimization and software development.
Strong programming skills with Python.
Exposure to Big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop MapReduce, Hive or Impala will be a plus.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
Knowledge in specific SQL DB Systems such as Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server.
Hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
Ability to think analytically, quantitatively, and creatively.
Good communication skills.
Advanced level of Spanish and English.
